It would be great if in the mining location page (the one that lists the item drops for each mining location, you could see what pickaxe type you needed in order to mine in that particular location, as well as how many you had left (similar to how it appears in the main screen).
It would make it much easier to see where you could actually mine, and make it much smoother to craft more pickaxes for the location that you're in, especially if you had the quick craft perk and could click on the item symbol to craft it from that sub menu. Currently you have to search "pickaxe" in the crafting menu and read through each item description to see what pickaxe is used where.
