There could be an item that is hard to get in a way that there is a gimmick to it like the Ancient Treasure Belt. This item would be 100% just for cosmetic being on your profile/bragging rights but the main thing is that when someone finds it, they're not allowed to tell anyone how to get it. It could also mark your place in the race to get the item, but the main thing is that it shows on your profile you found it.

I like the idea of a secret item or an Easter-egg, but I really doubt we could get people not to immediately spoil the answer. It’s human nature.
First rule of fight club… tell everyone you are not talking about fight club.
However a circada 3301- style secret puzzle or url scavenge hunt based on FarmRPG lore would be amazing.
