There could be an item that is hard to get in a way that there is a gimmick to it like the Ancient Treasure Belt. This item would be 100% just for cosmetic being on your profile/bragging rights but the main thing is that when someone finds it, they're not allowed to tell anyone how to get it. It could also mark your place in the race to get the item, but the main thing is that it shows on your profile you found it.
