Turn Mining into an alternate way to progress through the game. At 100+ (or 1k+ ?) floor you'll be able to find a rare potion that would add 100 mastery to any item (or restrict it for tower MM items only). Their frequency/rarity/how much mastery it adds scales with how deep you are
