(spoilers) sturdy saw is supposed to be the reward for COI. But although oak has become more needed for tower masteries, ironically this has made sturdy saw less useful, as the amount of passive oak any player can reasonably afford is a rounding error on the amount we need. Oak masteries will always take some exploring, but passive production needn't be functionally useless. I would like to see passive oak improved somehow so it is more relevant and useful. For example, perhaps we could buy a gold perk that discounts the cost of upgrades. Or, passive oak production could simply be made cheaper. (In this case, players who have already invested in passive production should have it automatically adjusted to reflect what their silver would've bought at the new rate). It's kind of like the bank or wine cellar where it would benefit from rebalancing for the way the game has evolved. Thanks for considering my idea.
