Currently the IAP costs are displayed as just "$XX.XX" in the USD price. This is particularly misleading for users who use a different currency which also uses the dollar/peso sign, for example if I see $4.99 I expect to pay AUD$4.99 but instead I'm charged $7.49 at checkout. Ideally the price which will be payed in local currency should be displayed, but if that isn't possible then at least changing the display to USD$XX.XX would avoid this confusion.
