After getting numerous messages from people regarding their feelings for Redbrook, I believe having a nominated player representative will benefit the game.
Initially this person can be voted on in a Community Poll. The top 10 longest serving patreon members who submit an application are in the poll to help speed up this process.
Throughout the month we can send DMs to this person and at the end of the month they can send a report to firestream. It will probably be easier to copy and paste all the messages into AI to generate a summary.
My thoughts are that it creates a safe and anonymous space for players to share their thoughts and it gives the developers an idea of player sentiment. It may also generate additional ideas for the development team.
There would be an expectation on the development team to formulate a reasonable reply to the playerbase.
I believe this will help with keeping the community engaged, and help with player retention. Also this will bring a sense of power to the players too, knowing that their voices are heard.
In many organisations I've worked in, there's always been a disparity between what the leaders think, middle management think, and front line staff think. If we can align and enlighten our thought processes, perhaps we can create something more special than what already exists.
