Not sure if this would be in the works or not, but to help with the grind of farming it would be an idea to automate planting and harvesting seeds.
maybe it is a bit too difficult to program, but as an idea setting roomba to plant and harvest quick growing crops so that a player can let the game run its course without needing to babysit it, or say having longer growing plants to do overnight.
To make sure it isn't something done early, it can be something unlocked only at lvl 99 farming and needing roomba nest of course, which might lead to a QoL improvement.
