Going to Boston (also known as Yankee Grab or Going to Town) is a simple, fast-paced game where players try to roll the highest total score each round across exactly three rolls.
• Equipment: You need three standard 6-sided dice and a way to track scores.
On your turn, you get exactly three rolls to build your final score:
• Roll 1: Roll all three dice. Keep the die with the highest number and set it aside. If there is a tie for the highest number, you only keep one.
• Roll 2: Roll the remaining two dice. Again, keep the highest number and set it aside with your first die.
• Roll 3: Roll the last single die.
Scoring & Winning
• Calculate Round Score: Add the values of all three kept dice together. This total is your score for that round.
• Winning a Round: Once players have completed their turn, the person with the highest sum wins the round.
• Breaking Ties: If there is a tie for the highest score in a round, those specific players have a roll-off turn to determine the round winner.
Amount of rounds and prizes are up to you.
