I think one if the best things for the game is to have quarterly or bi-yearly surveys. Where community members can respectively express concerns about mechanics/items and the ability to give reviews on how they feel the staff/development team are doing. A great community is built in trust and understanding. Staff members also deserve are respected for all the hardwork they do. The staff survey doesnt need to list specific members but it can talk about the team in whole. This can allow the community and staff to better understand each other. Just like many companies have employee surveys for feedback.
