I was thinking as you look around, you may get blind sided by an enemy.

Have a random battle occur when you press the look around button. Make it happen at random.

I like it in terms of lore, but this has the potential to ruin multiple types of challenges runs. Maybe a separate button to look around more haphazardly that shows more enemies but includes a chance for a surprise critical hit ambush?
