Players & moderators alike are constantly repeating the same conversations, reminders - when an individual wishes to 'trade' or ask for 'giveaways' for an item that isn't "givable". Even after reaching Tower >150 in over a year of gameplay & participation, I still occasionally make the mistake myself & have 1-5 people reminding me the item isn't mailable. Most individuals maintain the well-known kindness, helpful & gentle nature common of farmers in this RPG but other times you can certainly sense the snappy impatience and frustrations of those reminding others of "non-givable" items time and time again.
Also, it creates a distraction in the game play for all, some ready to mail with their inbox open & searching for the item which doesn't appear while others skim over multiple messages "clutter" trying to keep up with their intended chats.. It regularly and persistently demands enough time/energy away from those kindly & patiently passing along reminders & informative links that there must be a more cohesive, comprehensible and efficient solution.

Perhaps scrapping the entire column indicating which items are "givable" when you click on an item & instead placing a small symbol in a corner near the picture/title/description of it.
A symbol such as an old fashioned beam w/ two pans that pivot & balance when equal in weight - traditionally indicative of "bartering" or a little graphic of a "farmers market" stand/wagon. This would add a lot of simplicity and clarity for farmers new & old. While simplifying training for mods or helpful neighboring farmers while being more welcoming & approachable to understanding for newcomers or the forgetful veterans. Further avoiding the need to click each item to check if it's "givable" or not.
Especially as, when doing so in your inventory - the page refreshes when returning rather than staying in or holding its place. Without another window open to search items in one as you scroll your inventory in the other, it demands a lot of time, effort and patience just to check if an item is "givable" before drawing unwanted attention to yourself. Searching the library isn't always clear and efficient as many items are buried underneath sub-links or other categories, events, etc.
Alternatively perhaps, introducing a new option for filtering your inventory beyond "meals", "super rare", "Crops" and so forth. Such as "givable items" aaannd idk what else, haha.

Lastly, a similar filter would be beneficial in the workshop - at least in my perspective. As sometimes when crafting, I wish I could see only items for which I have resources to make & ordered by the quantity of items produced ie. 2395 "Wooden plank" vs 16 "Fancy chair". Yes, the search bar is very helpful but sometimes I just want to burn some resources and not fuss with having to search through all that use for instance "mushroom paste", half of which I'm missing other resources for or can only produce 159 here and 25 there..

Thanks for reading & considering my thoughts,
