There's a button at the bottom of the screen on the web and mobile version that will take you to the home page. On the mobile version, there's a button to pop the chat page open and closed. It would be great if this button could also be added to the web version.
I know you can turn off chat by going to the settings menu, but that's not really what I want to do. There are times when I just want to close the chat window for a little bit and focus on what I'm doing and then pop it back open when I'm ready to view chat again. This would be a big QOL improvement.

Maybe not exactly what you want, but you can shrink the window horizonatally which takes away the menu and chat panes and effectively gives you the mobile view with the chat popup button.
