With iOS notifications for when your crops are ready having been implemented for a while now, it might be time for the next upgrade.
One incredibly helpful addition would be a notification if you forgot to plant anything. Sometimes, I’ll quickly harvest and tap to plant, but due to a misclick or system lag, nothing actually gets planted. A notification a few minutes later letting me know that nothing was planted would be a great reminder.
I understand that notification fatigue is a concern for some players. However, considering how iOS allows users to customize their notification preferences, it might be worthwhile to offer similar customization within the game settings. For example, I’d personally benefit from enabling both “Crops Ready” and “Forgot to Plant” notifications, whereas other players might prefer to disable them altogether.
Giving users control over which notifications they receive could be a good balance between functionality and user preference.
