I kinda have a thought as I love cooking and planting crops. What I'm going to suggest looks like having alchemy and merge hahaha
So, I thought that cooking looks easy. Leveling isn't. I meant there's not that much. Farming needs patience most of the time. Yes, we have GJ and cookies, but it's fairly limited. Exploring needs tons of stamina. Fishing needs nets and baits, I guess. Crafting needs a lot of items. Cooking? We need crops, yes, but most are mailable. FP? We can craft or buy as it's mailable too. If talking about leveling up, all we need is focus on pies. FP takes a lot of golds, but we don't even need that much meals anyway nor have higher levels after unlocking all meals. Ovens are nice to have at least.
What if we make a restaurant like features, which we can experiment with crops? We don't know what effects it'll have or if it's edible. For effects, maybe make it like if we get lucky, we can have something like hickory but it's 5 mins instead of 10 mins passive production. If we failed, we'll either lose just crops, get hated by customers (stingy townfolks), or our oven gets bombed. If extreme, our cooking level gets dropped hahaha i like suffering xD
I'm thinking that since I know people will give recipes in chat or anywhere, we'll be relying on our luck and focus. Focus for knowing when it's time to stir, taste, or season, like the one with fishing minigame w/baits. Also, townfolks will say what meals they would like to order and once we got the description we can get ingredients that suits it.
Basically, we can either use our own cooked meals or sell it to townfolks. The price? All the coins, even golds if we get lucky lol xD
Idk if this made sense 'cos I just thought of this couple hours ago while looking at the amount of meals I have. P.S. I don't have a lot because I'm too lazy, so I suddenly thought of this so I can have something to do xD
Oh, to avoid hoarding, we can make those meals unmailable. It's only you and the townfolks who can get it. That's so everyone can try it at least once. It's not needed, I just think it would be fun to have.
