If you purchase the meal tab perk, the tab completely cover the Ancient Coin tally total at the bottom of the home screen. Maybe the Home/Meal/Chat tab icons can be shrunk or made to be relocated to other parts of the screen

Curious how such a UI issue was missed, I believe this is even more of a reason for more customizable interface/accessibility preference options should be added to the game.
