I was thinking for a earlier pet why not the missing Raccoon also known affectionately as "the trash panda" just random trash items that are rarely acquired starting out at 3 somewhat useful but things like jewelry they are straight up a thief taking these things... The last line at 6 being valuable items that are hard to get normally... also taken. Could be tied to a pet quest or a introduction quest if you get the raccoon.
