That's just a cosmetic feature for fun without real benefits.
It would be funny if we could get an animation for ((bomb)) like other things (hops, frogs, spiders, shiny items) got recently. It could be just fuse burning or even explosion! It would be also funny if we could see that explosion animation when someone puts the bomb in our mailboxes. Alternate option could be activating that feature during April Fools Day.
