Hey, just curious if the RNG is working correctly for the dolls buddy mails back. I was a bit suspicious of my own experience but then quickly found other members that were all seemly statistically extremely unlucky.
Basically, there should be 6 possibilities in December (adventure, jester, nut cracker, krampus, Santa, Rudolph)
Calculating the possibility of collecting all 6 and the expected numbers of attempts (the harmonic number) results in 14.7
Many users have made many more attempts than this and have not gotten all 6. One user sent 30 buddy dolls in December without getting all 6 which is very unlikely at 2.52% It wasn't a cherry picked example either and seemed to be a common occurrence. Chat GPT was a wonderful help on calculating these odds and I suggest that staff complete thier own calculations to ensure that all is as it should be.
