When an item tag is used like ((Apple)) and it shows the icon of the item, either in chat or library pages it would be nifty to have a hover state that shows the name of the item, the amount owned and your current mastery rating. Especially the difference between Fishing Nets and Large Nets or Trout and Carp is hard to see sometimes and clicking the item isn't always convenient as it opens the item instantly. Would make pages like [[Tower]] easier to use as well when checking the requirements for T200-T250.

I'm not the best at html/css but something like this would be a great QoL improvement in my opinion.
I'm aware this wouldn't work on mobile devices but I guess that's the benefits of using the desktop version then?

It would definitely make life easier when playing the game on the PC, especially for new players. It's great that clicking on the icon brings you to the page, and that it's not difficult to navigate around the game. But still, sometimes having to click on an image to see what it is can interrupt what you're doing.
Maybe for a mobile device, a long press could give hover-over information, instead of moving to the item's page?
