For Daily Chores: when you have completed that day, there's a green dot below the date. There is also a blue circle selection that highlight current date. The blue circle selection currently covers the green dot, so it's not simple to see that you have completed today's chores. Please make "blue circle highlight" to not cover the green dot.
One simple way would be to color the date font instead. Rather than green dot, change the date font to be green. Last month completed chore can be dark grey font. This way blue circle highlight can also select today, but with green font after today's chores are completed.
