By placing the places to go in rows, you not only reduce scrolling, but also make remembering where each thing is much easier, to help with muscle memory. Its a pretty significant QOL improvement, that also makes it look better in my opinion.

Meh, if every screen is like that then there's no room for the quick viewed info. Like how many items you have to sell at the farmers market, or if the steak market is "risky" or not, or if something I don't have is on sale at the Farm Supply, or if i have a new raptor egg to incubate or not.. I don't want to always have to go to every single place to know what needs done. I can scroll and see everything that needs done in just a few seconds, instead of spending several minutes going to each place.. its already perfect if you ask me.

Submitted on Mar 26th 2024 by ficolasIt's a great mockup. You'll find that some people prefer it one way vs another... rows vs horizontal icons, etc. If this was added, it would require an option to leave it as is or use the icon grid layout, etc.
