Create a new tool on your farm to automatically gift items to townsfolk that operates similarly to craftworks. Cost and slots could scale like craftworks and would significantly improve the experience on single-device playing especially where it takes multiple screens and clicks to send gifts to townsfolk when exploring and fishing.

This is an often requested feature but we are unsure if it aligns with our vision for the game as it would add to the "idle" style of gameplay that we want to avoid for certain aspects. We have reviewed this comment but are unsure if it will ever be implemented.

If Giftworks is too automated of an idea, what about a Quick Send perk to add an option to the item details screen, similar to quick sell? Players could select a townsfolk recipient (or perhaps even another player, maybe limited from their friends list?) to receive an adjustable amount of the given item. Once a townsfolk is selected, their portrait and xp bar could even be shown.
